Keedysville Town Council
April 6, 2009
The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Town Council was opened with the following members present: Mayor Hull, Asst. Mayor Levey and Town Administrator Simmons.
Minutes were read and approved.
The treasurer's report was as follows: $128,289.12
Mowing bids were reviewed and due to lack of quorum, tabled until an email could be sent to all council members to obtain vote on bids.
Request for funds was introduced by the South Mountain Ball club, a new senior field has been constructed and funds to complete fencing are needed. A request of $6500 was
introduced to Keedysville. Issue will be set to council Member thru Email.
A donation request of $100 was requested for the Lupus Foundation in honor of former Mayor Lee Brandenburg. Mayor Hull and Asst. Mayor Levey agreed to donate 100 as in
years past.
Becky Hein was representing the old Keedysville School in requesting ½ of the funds to complete hand railing on the sidewalk on Main Street. Funds of $1875 would be the
Towns portion. Again due to lack of a quorum issue was tabled.
No further business to discuss.
