Keedysville Town Council

December 1, 2008

The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Town Council was opened with the following members present: Mayor Hull, Asst Mayor Levey, Council Members, Smith, Walton and Town Administrator Simmons.

Minutes were read and approved.

The treasurer's report was as follows: $98,756.32

Construction update was given on library, to date 2 draws and 2 change orders have been made. Work should be finished by the end of January.

A review of the Sheriff's Department OT was made. After some discussion Mayor and Council agreed that OT should be scaled back until warmer months.

A review of pricing for railing at front sidewalk at old school was made; suggestion was made that a 2nd price be obtained from Clint Herbert, who recently installed a handrail at the New Town Hall.

Town resident Sid Machat was present to request that street sweeping materials would not be dumped at the Town's property near the old RR tracks. After much discussion Mayor and Council agreed that other alternatives would be looked into.
