Keedysville Town Council

October 8, 2008

The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Town Council was opened with the following members present: Mayor Hull, Asst Mayor Levey, Council Members, Brumage, Smith, and Walton.

Minutes were read and approved.

The treasurer's report was as follows: $136,549.56

Sidewalk work at Town Hall is complete grass is growing nicely.

Problems at the North end of Town seam to be under control, over time patrols of the Sheriff's department are working.

A snow bid from Bryan Babington was reviewed and a few of the council members raised concern over the product for snow melt on the new walk ways. Bryan would be contacted regarding product used.

A donation request for the library to have a fall and Christmas party was reviewed, motion was made and 2nd to donate $100 as in years past. All agreed motion passed.

Rodney Saylor was back in front of the Mayor and Council with deed information to the St. Peters Lutheran Church. Mr. Saylor requested that the alley from Main Street to Taylor Drive that passes the church be closed during church functions. Mr. Saylor sites safety concerns as reasoning. After some discussion Mayor Hull and council agreed to closure. A notice will be place is the December water bill.
