Keedysville Water Commission
November 6, 2017
The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Water Commission was called to order at 7:50pm, with the following members present: Commission Chairman Barry Levey, Commission Members Ken Lord, Gina Ellis and Judy Kerns and Town Administrator Rick Bishop.
Minutes for October, 2017 were read and approved.
General Fund Report was $101,461.96.
Mr. Levey noted that the main meters at the tank and the booster pump station had been tested and deemed in working order.
Mr. Levey noted the walk through with Fred Frederick of Frederick, Seibert & Associates regarding extending the waterline from the end of Antietam Drive to Carl French's property.
Mr. Bishop noted that MDE is still reviewing the plans for the tank insulation project.
Mr. Levey noted that the current water losses in Town are in a very acceptable range.
Carl French asked when the hydrant near his house will be brought back into service. Mr. Levey said the Town is waiting on the completion of drawings for the waterline extension so that the work could all be done at one time.
