Keedysville Water Commission

The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Water Commission was held with the following members present: Board Members Hull, Levey, Brumage, Robertson and Town Administrator Simmons.

Minutes were read and approved.

Treasurer's report was as follows: $113,987.05

Barry Levey gave an update on the ongoing legal battle regarding the pumping station land. The Judge has granted the Stay for Keedysville and we are continuing to move forward.

A consulting bill from Chip Wood for $9,312.50 was received for services rendered December thru March. Payment will be made from the Capital Improvements account.

A quote for the replacement of the original water meters installed in 1992 was reviewed. Barry Levey gave information on the life of an average meter and the need to replace them with a new and improved radio read meter.
