BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that in accordance with the provisions of the Land Use Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, and the provisions of the “Keedysville Zoning Ordinance”, the Board of Zoning Appeals for the Town of Keedysville, Maryland, will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 6:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, Town Hall, Keedysville, Maryland, at which time the parties in interest and citizens will have an opportunity to be heard relative to the following applications:
1. Docket No. K-137-2023-20 To hear a request by Scott Moore to construct a 48×20 pole building at the front of his property, 12 ft (or less) from property line. The building will consist of three 12 ft high walls, a roof, a gravel floor with no power or utilities. This property is located at 19435 Shepherdstown Pike, Keedysville, MD, and is zoned Suburban Residential (SR) and requires Accessory buildings to occupy side and rear yards (Section 407). A Minimum Front yard set-back for a permitted building is 20 ft (Section 401).
